Recurvo keeps your lines on your devices and, if you choose, in your iCloud. We have no account, no server and no analytics. We collect no data about you. This page says exactly what the app and the site do with information, so you can check it.
1. Who we are
Must Have Studio, the studio of Mustapha Fenzar, Sffo 0469 Compass Bldg, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. support@musthave.studio.
2. What the app keeps, and where
- Your lines (a service, a plan, an amount, a currency, a cadence, dates, a note, a project) and your settings (the pivot currency, reminders, the eye) are stored on your device, in the app's own storage.
- iCloud. When iCloud is on in Recurvo, your lines are also stored in your iCloud account, in a private database Apple keeps for you (CloudKit). Only the devices signed in with your Apple Account can read it. We cannot: we hold no key to it. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy apply to that storage. You turn it off in Recurvo's Settings, then iCloud; your lines stay on the device.
- Widgets. The app writes a small summary (the next due, the month) in a storage on the device that its widgets read. It never leaves the device.
- Reminders. Reminders are local notifications, scheduled on the device by the app. We run no notification server. The only remote notifications the app receives are iCloud's own, sent by Apple when your lines change on another device.
3. Screenshots
When you add a line from a screenshot, you pick the image with the system's picker: Recurvo receives that image only, never your photo library. The text is read on your device by Apple's Vision framework. The image and the text never leave your device, and the app keeps nothing of the image once the line is written.
4. What goes on the network, and why
Recurvo makes three kinds of network requests. None carries your name, your amounts or your lines.
- Logos. To show a service's logo, Recurvo first looks in its own catalogue of about 300 services, shipped inside the app. For a service it does not know, it asks that service's own website for its icon and, if the site has none, Google's public icon service (Google's privacy policy). When you type the name of a service it does not know, it checks the same way whether a site exists at a likely address. These requests carry the site's domain name and, like any web request, your IP address. Nothing else. Logos found are cached on the device.
- Exchange rates. Once a day, or when you tap Refresh now in Settings, the app fetches the day's rates for your pivot currency from Exchange Rate API (open.er-api.com), or from jsDelivr if the first does not answer. The request carries the currency code only. Rates are cached on the device.
- Apple. Purchases go through the App Store (StoreKit): Apple processes the payment and tells the app what you bought; we never see your card, your name or your address. iCloud talks to Apple's servers under your Apple Account.
These services keep their own server logs under their own policies, linked above.
5. What we do not do
No account. No analytics, no crash reports sent to us, no tracking, no advertising, no third-party code in the app. No bank or card connection. No reading of your mail or of your App Store subscriptions: you choose a screenshot. Nothing sold, nothing shared.
6. Face ID and Touch ID
Revealing hidden amounts uses the system's authentication. The app only learns whether it succeeded. Your biometric data stays in your device's Secure Enclave; we never see it.
7. Keeping and deleting
Your lines stay as long as you keep them. Delete a line in the app; delete the app to remove everything on the device. To remove the iCloud copy, turn iCloud off in Recurvo's Settings, then delete Recurvo's data in your iCloud settings (iCloud, then Manage Storage). We hold nothing of yours to delete on our side.
8. The website
recurvo.app is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page). The site sets no cookie of ours and runs no analytics.
If you join the waiting list, your email address is used to send you the confirmation link and then the news you asked for. The form is received by Netlify Forms; the address is kept by Resend, our email service, on the studio's list with a topic for Recurvo; every email carries a link to leave. The confirmation link is valid fourteen days. When you confirm, the founder is told by a message on Telegram that carries your address and your language, and a counter in Netlify Blobs goes up by one (no address in it).
9. Children
Recurvo is not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect nothing from anyone.
10. Your rights
Where the GDPR or the UAE Personal Data Protection Law applies to you, you may access, correct, delete and take away your data, and object to its use. Since we hold no data of yours, you exercise most of these yourself, on your device and in your iCloud. For the waiting list, use the link in any email or write to support@musthave.studio. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top says when. A change that matters to you is announced in the app or on this page.
